Introducing learnkanas.com
January 2017The first step in learning Japanese (unfortunately) is to learn the "kanas". The kanas are two syllabaries: hiragana and katakana. To memorise them, you can copy them countless times or you can play a simple game regularly. You can do the latter on learnkanas.com.

LEARN KANAs is a simple web application to practice your kanas. Simply visit learnkanas.com, select a syllabary (hiragana or katakana) [1], select a level [2] and get started [3]:

In future, I might:
- add gojūon and dakuten
- add digraphs
- make this website responsive (so you could use it on your mobile phone)
- add a learning section with mnemonics
- show the answers for learners during the quiz
